Introduction to various felt making techniques, including; 2D felt, pattern making to make 3D forms, insets/pockets, inlaying fabrics, needle-felt, nuno felt, simple moulds and felted knitting. These will be explored through sample making and small projects. Students will be introduced to research skills to develop design ideas for their own projects.

Themed projects using both landscape and cultural influences from other lands.
